Sweet & Spicy Pickled Eggs & Sausage
Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
2 smoked sausages, sliced
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black peppercorns
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
Mix the Brine
: Combine vinegar, water, honey, salt, and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cool.
Pack the Jar
: Place eggs, sausage, and garlic in a clean jar.
Pour & Seal
: Add the brine, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
Wait & Enjoy
: Let sit for 3-5 days before eating.
Serve Chilled
