Steak with Creamy Mushroom Sauce and Fries
A hearty dish that combines succulent steak, rich mushroom sauce, and perfectly crispy fries. A true comfort meal!

Ingredients:
2 medium-sized steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (150g) mushrooms, sliced
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
Fresh parsley, chopped
300g frozen or fresh fries (for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the fries: Bake or fry the potatoes according to the package or your recipe until golden and crispy.

Prepare the steak: Season steaks with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (depending on desired doneness). Set aside to rest.

Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until tender. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.

Assemble: Pour the creamy mushroom sauce over the steak, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with a side of crispy fries.
