Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Protein:
1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin), cubed
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle
Salt for boiling water
For the Creamy Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak:
Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, melt butter and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
4. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
Melt butter in the skillet, then sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted.
Add paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Combine Everything:
Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated.
Plate the pasta and top with seared steak and shrimp.
6. Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese over the dish.
