Mushroom Swiss Burger
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
4 brioche burger buns
8 slices of Swiss cheese
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic (minced)
Lettuce leaves
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: mayonnaise or garlic aioli for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Patties:
Season ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
Cook the Patties:
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, adding Swiss cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
Sauté the Mushrooms:
In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until soft and golden. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Burgers:
Toast brioche buns lightly. Spread mayonnaise or garlic aioli on the bottom bun, then layer with lettuce, the beef patty with melted cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and the top bun.
Serve:
Serve hot with your choice of fries, salad, or dipping sauce on the side
