Million Dollar Pound Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups butter, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
¾ cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease and flour the pan.
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
Gradually add flour and buttermilk, mixing until smooth.
Stir in vanilla and lemon zest, bake for 85 minutes.
