Loaded Cheese Fries with Beef
Ingredients:
For the fries:
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
For the beef topping:
1 lb beef (flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup beef broth
For the cheese sauce:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
For garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the fries:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Toss the potato fries in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Cook the beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the beef with salt and pepper, and cook it for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned.
Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and diced onion, and sauté until softened (about 2 minutes).
Return the beef to the skillet, add beef broth, and simmer for 5 minutes until the beef is tender and the liquid reduces.
Make the cheese sauce:
In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Once heated, gradually add mozzarella and cheddar cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the loaded fries:
Once the fries are cooked, layer them on a plate. Spoon the beef mixture over the fries, then drizzle with the cheese sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Enjoy your delicious loaded cheese fries with beef!
