Honey Garlic Baked Salmon with Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional)
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Season the Broccoli: Toss the broccoli florets with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange around the edges of the baking dish.
Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the center of the dish. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Drizzle the mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.
Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For a caramelized finish, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh parsley before serving. Pair with rice or quinoa for a complete meal!
