Ingredients

8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
1 small onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups chicken or beef broth
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Directions

Cook the Meat:
In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic in a little olive oil until softened. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Simmer the Sauce:
Stir in the marinara sauce and broth. Add the broken lasagna noodles and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes until the noodles are tender.

Add Cheesy Goodness:
Dollop ricotta cheese over the top and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

Serve and Garnish:
Ladle the lasagna into bowls, garnish with fresh basil, and enjoy this comforting meal!
