Garlic Butter Portobello Mushrooms
Ingredients
6 large portobello mushrooms (stems removed)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the mushroom caps.
Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and olive oil in another bowl.
Spoon the breadcrumb mixture evenly onto each mushroom.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Garnish with extra parsley before serving.
