Crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
2 packs uncooked ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
2 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 cup purple cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, julienned
3 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
For the Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil or sesame oil
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
Break the ramen noodles into small pieces.
Toast in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Mix the Salad:
In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, and green onions.
Add the toasted ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds.
Make the Dressing:
In a jar, mix olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and garlic powder.
Season with salt and pepper. Shake well.
Combine and Serve:
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
Let sit for 10-15 minutes for flavors to blend.
