Creamy Shrimp Fettuccine

Ingredients:
For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

For the Fettuccine:

8 oz fettuccine pasta

Salt, for pasta water

For the Creamy Sauce:

1 tablespoon butter

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Fettuccine:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water for the sauce.
Make the Creamy Sauce:

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Add the reserved pasta water, stirring to loosen the sauce.
Combine and Serve:

Toss the cooked fettuccine in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
Add the cooked shrimp to the pasta, mixing gently.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
