Creamy Chicken Bacon Pasta
Ingredients
12 oz penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
2 chicken breasts, diced
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 cups fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Spinach & Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Toss in the spinach and cook until wilted.
Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked penne, chicken, and crumbled bacon into the skillet. Toss until everything is well coated with the sauce.
Serve: Garnish with additional Parmesan and enjoy!
