Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole
This delicious Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole is a perfect weeknight meal for the whole family. It’s easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off excess grease.
Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk.
Stir in cooked rice and ground beef mixture.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Tips:
You can add other vegetables to this casserole, such as carrots, celery, or peas.
You can also use different types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or Colby Jack.
Serve this casserole with a side of salad or your favorite vegetables.
