4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 tbsp all-purpose flour

3 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Topping:

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional)

1 tbsp melted butter

Extra shredded cheese for topping

Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Cheese Sauce:

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until smooth. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly.
Stir in the garlic powder, paprika, and cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan) until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:

Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.
Assemble and Bake:

Transfer the mac and cheese to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle extra shredded cheese and, if using, the panko breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter over the top.
Bake:

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve:

Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for extra flavor and presentation.
This Baked Mac and Cheese is creamy, cheesy, and the ultimate comfort food. Enjoy every gooey bite!
