Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite!)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 slider buns
Directions

Combine ingredients: In a slow cooker, place chicken breasts and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Stir to coat the chicken.
Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
Shred chicken: Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker, mixing it into the sauce.
Assemble sliders: Toast the buns if desired. Spoon the shredded BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each slider bun, then top with the other half. Serve warm!
