Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tortellini
Ingredients
1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Cook the Tortellini: Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked chicken and tortellini to the skillet. Stir to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm!
