Hearty Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
8 oz egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Start by cooking the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until it is translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until it is browned and cooked through. Break up any large clumps of meat as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat and let it thicken slightly, stirring occasionally. Add the drained egg noodles to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
