Baked Stuffed Rigatoni with Ground Beef & Ricotta
This hearty and flavorful dish features large rigatoni pasta stuffed with a savory mixture of ground beef and creamy ricotta, topped with melted mozzarella cheese and baked until bubbly. A perfect comfort food meal!
Ingredients:
12 rigatoni pasta tubes
1 lb ground beef
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil the rigatoni in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Filling: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the ricotta cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Stuff the Rigatoni: Spoon the beef and ricotta mixture into each cooked rigatoni tube, ensuring they are well filled.
Assemble the Dish: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed rigatoni in the dish and pour the remaining marinara sauce over them. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
