Description
Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken
Ingredients
Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Creamy Garlic Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature: 165°F/74°C). Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping the skillet to deglaze and release any browned bits.
Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve:
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them.
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a side of pasta to soak up the creamy sauce. Pair with a crisp white wine like Chardonnay for a delightful dining experience.
Enjoy your creamy garlic herb chicken!
