Cheesy Beef Lasagna with Corn and Dinner Rolls
Ingredients:
For the Lasagna:
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar marinara sauce
9 lasagna noodles, cooked
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Corn:
2 cups frozen corn kernels
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Dinner Rolls:
4 store-bought or homemade dinner rolls
1 tbsp butter, for brushing
Instructions:
Prepare the Lasagna:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic over medium heat.
Add the marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
In a baking dish, layer the lasagna: Start with a thin layer of meat sauce, followed by noodles, then a layer of cheese mixture. Repeat until the dish is full.
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Cook the Corn:
In a pan, heat butter over medium heat. Add the frozen corn and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Dinner Rolls:
Warm the dinner rolls in the oven according to package instructions.
Brush with melted butter before serving.
