Ingredients
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 slices of ham
4 slices of Swiss cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Cheese Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish:
Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken Rolls:
Flatten each chicken breast
to about 1/4-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
Place a slice of ham
and Swiss cheese
on each breast, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
Bread the Chicken:
Dredge each chicken roll in flour
