Ingredients:
For the pasta:
300g penne pasta
Salt for boiling water
For the meat sauce:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
500g ground beef
2 cups marinara sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
For the cheesy topping:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the meat sauce:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Assemble the dish:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, combine the cooked pasta and meat sauce. Mix well.
Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
