This cheesy baked pasta is the ultimate comfort food, featuring tender pasta smothered in a rich tomato sauce, topped with melty mozzarella cheese. It’s easy to make and perfect for a cozy dinner!

Ingredients:
12 oz (340g) penne pasta

2 cups marinara sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and marinara sauce. Stir in garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

Assemble the dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Transfer the pasta and sauce mixture into the baking dish, then top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly with a golden brown crust on top.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
