Cheesy Beef Lasagna with Garlic Bread Rolls

Ingredients:

For the Lasagna:

1 lb ground beef

9-12 lasagna noodles

1 jar marinara sauce

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Bread Rolls:

6 dinner rolls

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley
(chopped)
Instructions:

Cook the Lasagna Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in marinara sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.

Prepare the Ricotta Mixture: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place a layer of noodles on top, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, then more meat sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with mozzarella and the remaining Parmesan on top. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

Make the Garlic Bread Rolls: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in minced garlic and parsley. Brush the mixture onto the dinner rolls and bake for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Plate the lasagna with garlic bread rolls on the side.
