7 Layer Salad

Ingredients

4 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1/2 cup red bell pepper (diced)
1/4 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
For the Dressing:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Layer the salad: Start with chopped lettuce at the bottom of a large glass bowl.
Add layers of cherry tomatoes, peas, red bell peppers, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Spread the dressing evenly over the top of the layered salad.
Finish with a layer of crumbled bacon.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
